Privacy Policy
For Brain Bucket: Catch & Think (com.aidribblers.brainbucket) on
Google Play, and this website · Last updated
The short version. Brain Bucket has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your progress is saved on your device and we never receive it. The only third party involved is Google AdMob, which shows the ads that keep the game free – and in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it asks for your consent first.
1. Who we are
Brain Bucket is developed and published by AI Dribblers
(Islamabad, Pakistan) — “we”, “us” and “our” in this
policy. It covers the Android game distributed on Google Play under the package name
com.aidribblers.brainbucket (“the app”), and this website,
brainbucket.aidribblers.com.
For anything in this policy, write to support@aidribblers.com. You can open this policy from the game at any time: Settings → Privacy policy (the gear on the world map).
2. What the game stores on your device
To remember your progress, the app keeps a small save file in its own private storage on your device. It contains:
- the levels you have completed, your stars and best scores, and your Endless Mode best;
- your coins, the bucket skins, trails and outfits you own and have equipped;
- lifetime game counters (such as treats caught and worlds finished) and the trophies you have unlocked;
- your settings: music, sound, voice and vibration on or off;
- counters that limit how often the shop’s free-coin video can be watched.
This file never leaves your device. The app does not send it to us or to anyone else, and it has opted out of Android’s automatic backup, so it is not copied into your Google account’s device backups either. It contains nothing that identifies you.
It is deleted when you uninstall the app, or when you clear the app’s storage (Android Settings → Apps → Brain Bucket → Storage → Clear storage).
3. What we collect
Nothing. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, files or location. We run no servers, analytics or crash reporting for this game, and the app sends no data to us. The game is fully playable offline.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we use them only to answer you (see section 13).
4. What our advertising partner collects
The app is free and shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC. To show ads, measure them and prevent fraud, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the app collects and processes some information on your device, including:
- device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and the app set ID;
- your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general, approximate location — the app never requests your precise (GPS) location;
- interactions with ads and the app, such as which ads were shown and tapped;
- diagnostic information, such as crash logs and ad performance data;
- general device information, such as model, operating system version and language.
This happens inside Google’s SDK. We do not see the underlying data; we see only aggregated reports, such as how many ads were shown. Google handles it under its own policies, and acts as an independent controller of it:
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
- Google Privacy Policy
- Google’s advertising partners
Ads in the app are limited to content suitable for general audiences, rated PG or lower. Where ads appear, and how often, is described on the game page.
5. Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the app shows Google’s consent form (Google’s User Messaging Platform, a certified consent management platform) and asks for your choice before the ads SDK starts. No ad is requested until the form allows it.
The game plays exactly the same whatever you choose. If you do not consent to personalised advertising, Google may still show non-personalised or limited ads.
Your choice is stored on your device by Google’s consent tool, so you are not asked every time you play; we never receive it. You can change it at any time from Settings → Privacy choices in the app (the gear on the world map). The button appears wherever this choice applies.
Where US state privacy laws give you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising, you can do so through your device’s ad settings (see section 7) and, where Google offers it in your region, through the same Privacy choices button.
6. Google Play Data safety summary
This is how the data above maps to the Data safety section of our Google Play listing. All of it is collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, not by us, and is encrypted in transit.
| Data type | Collected | Shared | Purposes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Approximate location | Yes | Yes | Advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance |
| App interactions | Yes | Yes | Advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance |
| Crash logs | Yes | Yes | Analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance |
| Diagnostics | Yes | Yes | Advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance |
| Device or other IDs | Yes | Yes | Advertising or marketing, analytics, fraud prevention, security and compliance |
| Everything else | Not collected: no name, email address, user IDs, contacts, messages, photos, videos, audio, files, calendar, financial or payment information, health data, web browsing history or precise location. | ||
7. Your choices and controls
- Change your ad consent choice (EEA, UK and Switzerland): Settings → Privacy choices in the app. See section 5.
- Turn off ad personalisation, or reset or delete your advertising ID: in your device settings, usually Settings → Google → Ads or Settings → Privacy → Ads, depending on your device. This does not remove ads from the game; it stops them being personalised to you.
- Rewarded videos are always optional. You choose whether to watch one — for a second chance, double coins or free coins in the shop.
- Play without ads loading: the game runs fully offline. With no connection, no ad is requested; only the optional video rewards are unavailable.
- Delete everything the game has stored: uninstall the app, or clear its storage in Android Settings (see section 2).
8. Permissions the app uses
The game itself declares three permissions:
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
INTERNET | Loading ads. The game itself plays entirely offline. |
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Checking whether a connection is available before requesting an ad. |
VIBRATE | Haptic feedback during play. Turn it off with Settings → Vibration. |
The Google Mobile Ads SDK adds its own, used only for serving and measuring ads:
AD_ID and com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID (the advertising
ID), ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION and
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS (the Android Privacy Sandbox),
READ_BASIC_PHONE_STATE (network type), and WAKE_LOCK and
FOREGROUND_SERVICE (background work scheduling inside the SDK).
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, precise location or phone calls.
9. Children
Brain Bucket is a cartoon game suitable for a general audience, but it is made for teenagers and adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children — we do not collect personal information from anyone.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the ads shown in the app, contact us at support@aidribblers.com and we will help you raise it with Google, which holds that data.
10. Purchases
The app has no in-app purchases and never asks for payment details. Coins are earned by playing, or by choosing to watch an optional rewarded video. They cannot be bought or exchanged for money.
11. This website
This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, embedded videos or third-party scripts. Its only scripts are two small ones of our own that run the screenshot carousel and the page animations; they store nothing and send nothing, and the site’s security policy blocks scripts from making network requests at all. Its fonts and images are served from this site, not from third-party services.
The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. As with any website, the servers that deliver a page necessarily process your IP address and basic request details (such as the page requested and your browser type) in order to send it to you. We do not keep access logs that record your IP address, and we do not use this information to identify you.
12. Your rights
Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK GDPR and US state privacy laws (including the CCPA/CPRA) give you rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to complain to a data protection authority.
Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to give you a copy of, correct or delete, and nothing for us to sell or share. We do not sell personal information.
Requests about the advertising data described in section 4 are best made to Google, which controls it: see policies.google.com/privacy. If you write to us first at support@aidribblers.com, we will point you to the right place and help where we can.
Where the GDPR applies, advertising data is processed on the basis of your consent where consent is required, and otherwise on the basis of our legitimate interest in funding a free game. Google may process this data in countries other than your own, under the safeguards described in its privacy policy.
13. Security, retention and deletion
We retain no game data, because we receive none. Your save file lives on your device for as long as the app is installed. Data collected by Google’s advertising services is sent over encrypted connections and kept according to Google’s retention policy.
If you email us, we keep the conversation only as long as we need it to help you, and delete it on request.
14. Changes to this policy
If the app changes in a way that affects this policy, we will update it here and change the date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the app’s release notes on Google Play.
